91Ó°ÊÓ Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Adds Third Accreditation
91Ó°ÊÓ’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program reaches a milestone with a third accreditation in a focused area of study. The College is now accredited in Vascular, and was accredited in Abdominal and Obstetrics/Gynecology in Jan. 2016 by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

91Ó°ÊÓ Expands Mental Health First Aid Training with Grant
91Ó°ÊÓ receives a $375,000 grant to expand mental health training for faculty, staff and a select group of students. The grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has a goal to reach most of 91Ó°ÊÓ’s full time faculty and staff. So far, 91Ó°ÊÓ has already trained 150 faculty and staff in Mental Health First Aid and plans to train an additional 630 faculty, staff and select students over a three-year period.

91Ó°ÊÓ Announces Campaign for Completion
91Ó°ÊÓ kicked off the public phase of Clearing the Pathway: The Campaign for Completion, the largest fundraising campaign in 91Ó°ÊÓ’s history. The Campaign will raise $20 million in private funds to support student scholarships, academic advisors, Student Success Centers, science lab renovations and diversity and inclusion outreach.
