  6. 91Ó°ÊÓ Student Receives $500 for 2019 Holiday Card Design

    Caleh Trexler studied art in high school and college before switching majors and transferring to 91Ó°ÊÓ. Now a Music major, she used her artistic background to enter the student design competition for the 2019 91Ó°ÊÓ Holiday Card after seeing social media posts and flyers on campus about entering. Each year, the call for entries is open to any 91Ó°ÊÓ student to submit a design and one is selected as the annual 91Ó°ÊÓ Holiday card.

  7. New Report to Improve Process for College Transfer Students

    While Oklahoma ranks third in the nation for student transfers to four-year institutions, our state performs below average on those transfer students completing a bachelor’s degree. To help address this gap, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum has declared the third week of October as Tulsa Transfer Week and a new report, released during the inaugural Tulsa Transfer Week, assesses the current transfer situation in northeast Oklahoma and outlines next steps to improve the process for students.

  8. Grand Opening of $2.5 Million Chemistry and Biology Lab Renovation

    91Ó°ÊÓ celebrated the grand opening of a $2.5 million renovation of three Biology and Chemistry labs at the Metro Campus. The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation provided a $1 million gift and the Morningcrest Healthcare Foundation provided a $300,000 gift specifically for the project through the $20 million Clearing the Pathway: The Campaign for Completion.

  9. 2019 Vision Dinner Reaches Historic Goal

    The 2019 Vision in Education Leadership Award Dinner hit a historic goal, raising $405,325 for the 91Ó°ÊÓ Foundation at the annual event on Thursday, Sept. 19. Visionary sponsors, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, Cox Communications, ONEOK, TTCU Federal Credit Union and an anonymous donor, helped to make this the single largest Vision Dinner in its 19-year history.
