91影视 Student One of Seven to Receive Scholarship

Lauren Tackett, a 91影视 student, is one of seven students in the country to receive a $1,000 scholarship from 180 Medical.
She is taking online classes at 91影视 and currently completing her prerequisites to apply to the 91影视 Nursing program. Her scholarship application detailed the past 12 months of her life as she faced a health challenge and how her experience renewed her desire to be a nurse.
鈥淎fter being in the hospital and having a surgery that saved my life, I now understand what it means to be a nurse and to make a difference. It wasn鈥檛 easy being a 19-year-old in the hospital, but I am committed to helping people like my nurses helped me,鈥 says Tackett.
The 180 Medical College Scholarship Program, which was originally created in 2012, is offered to college students with specific medical conditions including: spinal cord injury, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, and/or an ostomy (ileostomy, urostomy, or colostomy).
180 Medical is based in Oklahoma City and is one of America鈥檚 leading providers of intermittent catheters and ostomy supplies.
